During our recent family vacation, we stayed at Posada, and it turned out to be quite an experience. Nestled in a small Mexican village, it provided a striking glimpse into rural life. The grounds were adorned with friendly turkeys and chickens, which delighted my younger siblings and made us feel very much at home. We appreciated the little things, like the fresh, local food prepared with love by the grandmother. My family and I enjoyed dining together, discovering the genuine flavors of Mexico. Our room had its own bathroom, air conditioning, and even WiFi, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. A particular highlight was the opportunity to feed the parrots, which was a fun activity that brought us together. The tour desk was incredibly helpful; we took a day trip to the nearby cenotes, an experience that was both refreshing and memorable. It’s important to note that the place feels like living within a Mexican family, providing an intimate atmosphere that you won’t find in typical hotels. If you’re looking for a unique family-friendly adventure, I recommend visiting Posada before it becomes too popular once the Maya train is completed.
